I’m grateful to indefatigable guest bloggers Darren Miller of Right on the Left Coast and Diana Senechal, author of Republic of Noise, for doing all the work while I was on vacation.

We’d planned to visit sites of fictional and historical mayhem in England: an Inspector Morse/Lewis tour in Oxford (crowded), a self-guided Brother Cadfael tour in Shrewsbury (beautiful little town) and a trip to the Viking museum in York (reserve online).
